Kaye George has been a janitor in a tractor factory, mental health center secretary, bookkeeper, short order cook, mainframe computer programmer, and nurse's aide among other things, while living in eight states (many of which begin with the letter M, curiously). Her current home is in Texas with her husband, with whom she has just about finished raising three children, all of whom are exceptionally good-looking, intelligent, and socially well-adjusted.
She is also a violinist, an online mystery reviewer, a life-long short story writer, and the author of a mystery series which has not yet found a publisher.
Kaye placed second place in FMAM's Fire to Fly short story contest in 2005.
She also placed first in the September, 2005, flash fiction contest in
Writer's Post Journal. That story was included in the February, 2006,
edition as one of the twenty best of 2005.

She is a member of the online Sisters in Crime group, Guppies
as well as
Mystery Writers of America
and has reviewed mysteries for the online publication
Cozies, Capers and Crimes.
